Hospital Membership Program

The Wisconsin Poison Center’s Hospital Membership Program was launched in July 2012, bringing together hospitals and health care facilities across the state to recognize the value of Poison Center services. Hospital Membership Program Members currently include 99% of eligible Wisconsin hospitals. Membership in the program requires an annual fee which provides unrestricted access to Poison Center services and serves as a primary funding source for the Wisconsin Poison Center.

In addition to this program, the Wisconsin Poison Center is supported by a combination of funding sources, including state and federal funding, as well as local donations. For a detailed breakdown of funding sources, please refer to our Annual Report. This funding is crucial in maintaining services that provide poison education, support, and care to Wisconsin residents.
